Xcel Urgent Care is currently vaccinating all individuals 5 years old and over. Please carefully read the information below before making an appointment.
Xcel Urgent Care offers the Pfizer vaccine and the Novavax vaccine.
The covid vaccine is provided free of charge. Our fees are paid by insurance carriers and a U.S. Government fund. To help us defray our costs, please provide us with your insurance information when making an appointment and bring your insurance card(s) when you present for your vaccination, whether it is for the first or subsequent dose. You will never receive a bill from us.
Medicare patients should bring their Medicare card with them, as Medicare supplemental insurance cards do not carry the original Medicare number, which is needed for billing Medicare directly.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

You can receive the second or third dose with us even if you received a previous dose elsewhere.
There is no difference between the first dose and subsequent doses for the primary series. The booster dose contains the original virus and the omicron virus strains.
Our vaccination hours are 9 am to 7 pm, 7 days a week. We do not close on any holiday.
The second dose of the vaccine is given 3 to 8 weeks after the first one. The third dose, which is indicated for immunocompromised individuals, is given at least 28 days after the second dose. The booster dose is given at least 2 months after completing the primary series.
To qualify for the vaccine, a person must be at least 5 years of age.
The second dose of Pfizer vaccine may be administered 3 to 8 weeks after the first dose.
Currently, the Pfizer vaccine is recommended for individuals 6 months of age and older. However, we only administer the vaccine starting at age 5 years.
People with moderately to severely compromised immune systems should receive an additional dose of COVID-19 vaccine at least 28 days after a second dose.
COVID-19 Vaccine booster shots are available for vaccine recipients who completed their initial series at least 2 months prior and are 5 years of age and older. If you already had one or more boosters, you can get the updated booster (containing the omicron variant) if 2 or more months have passed. Click here for more detailed information on the CDC website.
