Xcel Urgent Care is equipped to provide routine digital x-rays of the skull, chest, abdomen, spine, and extremities. We are able to detect fractures, foreign bodies, and numerous other conditions. Results are available immediately, as with digital technology there is no need for film development. If necessary, X-rays are sent to a radiologist for official reading and reporting. We are also able to provide you with a disc to provide to other healthcare providers.

Xcel Urgent Care has an on-site lab where many tests can be performed with quick results, such as antigen and PCR testing for the Flu, COVID, Strep and RSV, PCR testing for STDs, blood sugar, A1c, hemoglobin, urinalysis, and pregnancy testing. We also send lab tests to Quest and Labcorp when necessary.

Physical Exams 

Xcel Urgent Care offers physical examinations for various purposes including:

School Physicals (Kindergarten through college): we perform physicals as required by schools and administer required immunizations. Required forms are filled out during the visit. We also perform blood testing to demonstrate immunity.

Sports Physicals: we perform sports physicals according to the American Academy of Pediatrics' standards and provide the necessary documentation during the visit.

General Physicals: we perform work, travel, and general health physicals including any necessary blood work, drug screening, TB testing by blood, and EKG.

We also offer travel consultations and prescriptions for the prevention of malaria, altitude illness and motion sickness and for the treatment of traveler's diarrhea.

Our providers will take your medical history and perform a complete physical examination and, if needed, refer you for additional testing and diagnosis. A medical examination report form is completed for your commercial driver's medical certification.
